About 23 miles at a No-Drop pace.
This is a CCC leader supported double pace line ride for new riders or others that just want an easier pace. The slowest rider will set the pace, however, please be considerate of the other riders if you can't maintain an average 13 mph which will include some hills. If you're unsure, consider taking the entry level "Road cycling" - by appointment - course. Attendance for this ride can range from a few to
approximately 50 riders. Ride may be cancelled due to inclement weather.
Wednesday evening "Intermediate" ride, Irving Bible Church, Irving.
About 27 miles at a challenging pace.
This is a CCC leader supported double pace line ride. The usual pace will be 16+ average mph, which include some challenging Las Colinas hills. There may also be faster leaderless groups riding at 19+ averages, but they ARE NOT an official CCC ride. You should introduce yourself to any club member and ask which group you should ride in. Generally, you may be dropped if you can't maintain the
groups pace. Attendance for this ride can range from none due to inclement weather to
approximately 50 riders.
Mondays and Wednesday's evening warm-up, Irving Bible Church, Irving.
About 10 miles at a warm up pace. (Unofficial Ride) This is a leaderless warm-up to the Summer scheduled 6:30 PM ride ONLY. There will usually be multiple small informal groups riding at 16+ mph to over 20 mph. Some like to warm up at a fast pace while
others prefer a slower pace.
Saturday Morning, Andrew Brown Park East, Coppell.
About 45 to 60 miles at an Intermediate to challenging pace.
This is leaderless “adventure” ride, which will usually be composed of a fast 18+ computer average
and many times an intermediate 16+ group. The average speeds include a few challenging hills. There is no set route but will usually be North-West riding through Argyle and past Interstate 35W. Please be prepared to take care of yourself and always carry enough water and a cell phone. You should introduce yourself to any club member or non-club participant and ask which group you
should ride in. Generally, you may be dropped if you can't maintain the groups pace. Attendance for this ride can range from none to approximately 35+ riders.
Notice - This ride is cancelled for the Hotter N' Hell Hundred, Waco Wild West and other popular ride rally weekends. Ride is generally cancelled due to inclement weather.
Saturday Morning, Downtown Carrollton Gazebo, 35E and Belt Line.
About 38 miles at a moderate pace through Dallas and Park Cities.
This is leader lead CCC double pace line ride, which will usually be composed of a moderate
15+ mph computer average pace. Meet at the Gazebo in the Southeast corner. There is one stop
half way at Starbucks on Greenville Avenue. Attendance for this ride can range from a few to approximately 25 riders.
